relation to complaint or grievance management,
grievance
investigation or organisation-led inquiry processes.
In
relation to such matters, we can support your organisation to:
- Assess
the problem;
- Identify
whether the matter is minor in nature, a concern, a complaint, a grievance
or a dispute;
- Identify
the most appropriate outcome in the situation;
- Outline
the options to achieve the most suitable outcome;
- Advise
on any legal or external matters you need to consider, including ER,
IR, EEO or PSSC;
- Undertake
preliminary investigations;
- Provide
preliminary reporting;
- Support
your personnel via supervision or coaching;
- Provide
conciliation/mediation/investigation or inquiry services – depending
on the need;
- Develop
a brief for formal matters;
- Provide
all documentation required within the process, including: brief; appropriate
documentation to those involved; records of interview, etc.
- Conduct
formal investigations;
- Report
as required;
- Provide
written reports and recommendations;
- Provide
a protocol to ensure the process is equitable, reasonable and fair.
- Advise
on considerations to be observed should the matter become the subject
of external proceedings.

Bullying
Many bullying inquiries fail because investigators tend to investige
a series of independent, or isolated, incidents and allegations and
make findings on each. This approach fails to account for pattern of
behaviour and impact on those affected. We are experienced in conducting
investigations into allegations of bullying. We account for pattern
of behaviour and detrimental impact, thereby increasing the accuracy
of findings.

Breaches of employment contract, termination, unfair dismissal, constructive
