Privacy and Attendance at Training Courses or Coaching Sessions
Our job is to stimulate and support learning to occur in a safe environment. We understand that sometimes people will come into training with strong opinions, negative experiences or unhelpful attitudes regarding the topic of training, especially where attendance is not optional for employees.
Close to 10,000 employees have attended our training programs programs. As you can imagine, they come with a variety of attitudes and life experiences.
Coming into training with the ‘right’ attitude is not a pre-requisite for learning. Leaving the training with a better understanding and an ability to apply new skills, no matter what the attitude, is what we strive for. We have a lot of skill and 15 years of track record in bringing about effective training outcomes.
We do not record or report what participants say in training sessions. Participants have the opportunity to provide feedback via their evaluation. If we are asked by the client to provide feedback on the training session, we will provide general feedback and will not report on individuals.
However, we will report matters directly to a client if a request is made and this is agreed to as a condition or attendance or where the employer requires the participant to be assessed. These requirements are either negotiated with clients and participants, or made clear with participants before their attendance.
If a serious or threatening situation (involving employer liability or ethical obligations), was disclosed during training, this would be reported back to the client. In this case we would raise this matter sensitively and confidentially with the person who is co-ordinating the contract.

Privacy and Research
Information that is relevant only to the research we are undertaking is collected. Personal details will only be kept for the purpose agreed to, including follow-up communication during or after the completion of the research project for the purpose of reporting research outcomes.

How do we use your personal information?
Personal information we collect from you on behalf of your organisation is used only for the purpose(s) agreed with you BEFORE we collect it.
Generally this is for record keeping or to enable the future contact and communication you have agreed to before providing the information.
We do not share your information with other people or organisations.
No other person, business or oganisation is ever given your information.
We do not disclose or sell your personal information to others for use in mailing lists or databases.

Your e-mail address
We do not know your e-mail address unless you give it to us. We only record your e-mail address if you send us a message directly.
We DO NOT and WILL NOT sell or pass on your email address to other organisations.

Freedom of Information
As a private provider, we are not subject to Freedom of Information legislation, however, any documentation that we produce for public sector clients that is kept in their organisation is subject to FOI.
